After the 2009 Michigan Music Conference....

Matt,
"Things went amazingly well this weekend.  It was nice to be the group that had the percussion equipment that everybody else was checking out...instead of laughing at.  Matt...I always knew that I wanted quality equipment sitting on a easily movable and indestructible stand.  I figured that I'd have to sacrifice appearance for the sturdiness I wanted.  I'm constantly blown away by how attractive it all turned out.  When we played our first few notes in DeVoss Hall, Duane (former Director and great Assistant when needed) and I both noticed after only a note or two how great the new percussion stuff (I keep forgetting it was our old equipment) sounded.  At the MME performance we really highlighted our percussionists with our music selections.  I am so glad that you contacted me when you did...the timing was perfect.  Thanks for helping make this performance as perfect as it could be.  I'll try to remember to get you a CD when I get one.  I didn't mean for this to be a promotional letter, but feel free to use it that way.  I'd still like to write something for you...once I get off cloud nine.  Once again, Thanks!!"
